Acta Scientiarum Mathematicarum publishes pure mathematics papers that contain new and significant results.
Articles can be submitted in several way, that are presented here in decreasing preference:
Best way to submit a manuscript in electronic form is to register on this website as author, fill out the forms offered by the system and upload at least a pdf or ps file that contains the manuscript; (In this way the manuscript will automatically be put into Acta's electronic editorial system, and the submitting author will be able to monitor the way his or her paper proceeds in Acta's editorial system.)
Other method is to send the manuscript's pdf or ps file to the Editor-in-Chief's e-mail address actasm.editor@math.u-szeged.hu, with a message
expressing the intention of the authors; (In this case the manuscript will also be put into Acta's electronic editorial system.)
Articles on paper should be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief in three copies and authors should indicate if the paper has
been prepared using any dialect of TeX. (Once a paper is accepted, the corresponding author will be asked to
send the manuscript's TeX file, if any, via email to
actasm.editor@math.u-szeged.hu .)
By submitting a paper, the author(s) certify that the manuscript has not been submitted to and is not under consideration for publication at another journal, conference proceedings, or similar publication.
The article must be well written and of interest to a substantial number of mathematicians. The language of the paper should be English (in exceptional cases German or French). On the first page of the manuscript a descriptive title and the names and affiliations, together with the mail and
electronic addresses, of the authors must appear followed by an abstract that summarizes the article in English. The abstract should be at least one complete sentence, and at most 15 lines. The AMS classification numbers should be also given. We encourage our authors to
use any available dialect of TeX to prepare their papers.
Authors should take the greatest possible care in preparing the manuscript. To comply with general conventions of style used in our Acta, recent issues beginning with volume 57 should be consulted.
All papers are refereed.
Authors of papers accepted for publication will receive only one proof. Joint authors should indicate to which of them the proof should be sent.
Fifty reprints without covers will be supplied gratis. Additional copies may be obtained at the approximate
cost of production.
Any inquiries concerning a paper submitted bypassing this website should be addressed to the Editor-in-Chief.
